| ARTICLES Self-hypnosis by Charlie Badenhop Self-hypnosis is a natural way of changing your awareness of the present moment, and the awareness of yourself as part of the present moment. PRACTICES 1. Breath-talking As a "Breath Talker" you talk and breathe in harmony. Your sense of harmony will lead you to a generative hypnotic state. 2. Open perspective Use your self-hypnosis skills to create a mental image and emotional feeling of how you look and feel having already accomplished your goal... 3. Tuning in This practice helps to better understand or change an issue, relationship, or circumstance in your life. 4. "Only One, only moving, only calm" Enter a hypnotic state and notice how movement and breath connect all living beings together, as active players in the symphony of life. 5. "Melting the thinking mind" Self-hypnosis helps to melt your thinking mind. The idea in this practice is to experience the mind that comes prior to thinking. The mind that does not understand the concepts of right and wrong. |
