Body, Psyche, and Soul-Feeling into and Expressing Your Essential Self

Body, Psyche, and Soul-Feeling into and Expressing Your Essential Self

A two-day workhop in Washington DC, June 28 – 29 2003, 9:30- 5:30, led by Charlie Badenhop

Ever notice how easy it can be to promise yourself one thing, yet do another? Sometimes this phenomenon takes the form of “Dieting” or “Shopping” at other times it arises when we are unable to overcome an irrational fear. There seems to often be some part of us, other than our cognitive mind, which stops us from getting what we want in life. Yet somehow this same non-cognitive part can also be the source of our deepest wisdom and joy…when we open to it fully and honor the communication and knowledge it offers us.

In this Seishindo workshop we explore the process of entering into a state of Grace. We experiment with changing “state” and entering into the magical space of expressing our Essential Self. We discover how everything changes when we flow with the world around us and release into the swirl of life. Learning how to cultivate and nurture this liberating state of Grace is what we will focus on during our time together. When we express our Essential Self, what we say, what we do, and who we are, are all the same.

Come work and play with us and:

• Experience how your body activates the thoughts and actions of your cognitive mind.
• Build the brain-body pathways of communication that set in motion profound transformation.
• Release excess energy trapped in the body (be it pain, sorrow, anger, or fear) and convert this excess energy into fuel for positive change.
• Have greater appreciation for your dignity, dreams, and desires, so you can fully commit to the life you long for.
