Books
A list of books (with short commentaries) that in one way or another have been instrumental in the development of Seishindo.
Poetry
In Seishindo workshops we often use poetry to help us give expression to concepts we are working with, and feelings we are wanting insight into. We use poetry as a way to express what words alone cannot say. We use poetry as a way of learning how to touch the soul with words, and unlock the depth of meaning and emotion carried by verbal language. In the process we hope to point towards understanding that discussions involving opinions, beliefs, hopes, and fears, are in many ways poetic communications, more so than conversations about right and wrong.
Music
The following is a list of the CD's Charlie uses most often in his seminars. Many of the CD's he uses when teaching are compilation CD's. Three pieces from one album, two from another, and four from a third album, so what you buy, will likely not be exactly what you heard with us. Nonetheless, all of the CD's listed here are important to our work and well worth buying.
