Music used in the workshops

The following is a list of the CD’s Charlie and Cindy use most often in their seminars. Many of the CD’s they use when teaching are compilation CD’s. Three pieces from one album, two from another, and four from a third album, so what you buy, will likely not be exactly what you heard with us. Nonetheless, all of the CD’s listed here are important to our work and well worth buying.

Anugama	Shamanic Dream	Great for a circular groove.
Aretha Franklin	One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism	This is a ROCKING gospel album! Aretha at her glorious best.
Bette Midler	Bathhouse Betty	I very much love and use "Bernadette" and "I'm Beautiful". The rest of the album I do not care for so much.
Bob Holroyd	A Different Space	A very entertaining and eclectic range of electronic music. Some great upbeat stuff as well as slower pieces.
Bobby McFerrin	Circlesongs	Circular and up tempo. Songs #1,4 are worth the price of the whole album.
Boys Air Choir	Requim or Bluebird	Young boys choral group. Great lilting sound. Ethereal.
Celine Dion	"Let's talk about love" I am not sure what album this is from	MOVING love song!
Cirque du Soleil	Saltimbanco	Some great tracks on this one too.
Cirque du Soleil (Benoit Jutras)	Quidam	I use five tracks out of twelve, and these five tracks are VERY moving as a series.
David Parsons	Ngaio Gamelan	Great for a circular groove.
David Parsons	Shaman	Very nice up tempo ambient groove music.
David Parsons	Dorje Ling	A very nice, and quite varied "pace" wise, ambient CD. Great for long term mood change.
Deben Bhattacharya	Temple Music From Tibet	Good Tibetan temple music. There might be better out there. Experiment with others if you want.
Jennifer Berezan	ReTURNING	This is a GREAT album! One of my very favorites. Circular, breath rhythm, chanting, music.
Jennifer Berezan & Friends	Praises for the World	This album is fantastic! Basically one groove for the entire CD. Circular, lyrical, and great for helping to build a relaxed, joyful state.
Keith Jarrett	The Koln Concert	Great movement and dynamic tension by a great piano player.
Kurt Van Sickle	Make me an Instrument	Very soothing. "Make me an instrument Lord of thy peace" sung over and over.
Lama Gyurme and Jean-Phillippe Ryklel	Rain of Blessing	Great groove music. Tibetan chanting and French musician.
Loreena McKennitt	The Mask & Mirror	Hard to describe. It is mood music, and a good complement to some of the other music.
Los Activos		Some very uptempo street music, from Spain.
Male "church" choir	Sacred Treasures I	Big powerful Russian choral sound. Soothing (Male)
Marc Anthony	Marc Anthony	OK, I am a little bit shy to list this album, but it definitely has some VERY nice sounding tracks. Try it, you'll like it!
Mariah Carey	#1's	A number of very nice tracks from Mariah and her friends.
Steve Roach	The Magnificent Void	Slow ambient sound. Great for warm-ups.
Steve Roach	Dreamtime Return	Lovely ambient music. A two CD set.
Steve Roach and Thupten N. Pema Lama	Prayers to the Protector	The lama chants and Roach adds some background. A great CD.
Steve Roach and Vidna Obmana	Cavern of Sirens	Top quality ambient music. Great stuff for getting into a trance state.
Steve Roach, David Hudson, Sarah Hopkins	SOUND of the EARTH	It is hard to go wrong with any album with Steve Roach. This one is quite nice ambient music, with digeridoo and other sounds.
Will Seachnasaigh	Dreamings	Didjeridu music, mixed with other instruments. Very nice ambient music.
