I am very impressed with your newsletter. For over 25 years I
have used techniques similar to yours in seminars and audio programs
on cassettes and CDs. I have combined slow breathing with Ericksonian
Hypnosis (for a rapid, nonintrusive induction with visualization),
fantasy (to bypass the logical left brain) and Superlearning (Bridging
Music and timed learning intervals to produce whole brain thinking).
The result is a short (16 to 35 minute length) audio program capable
of profound changes in understanding of past events and a shift
to the adult mind for permanent understanding and awareness. My

PROJECT
IX-CANAAN
Guardians of the Rainforest
Myself and my partner, Dr. Enrique Chapeton, started Project
Ix-canaan 10 years ago with the goal of enabling the people of
the jungles of Guatemala to become truly Ix-canaan - Guardians
of the Rainforest. We are located in El Remate, a small indigenous
community located just south of the ancient Mayan city/archeological
site of Tikal, in the northern part of Guatemala.
Project Ix-canaan began with a medical clinic, free to the people
of this and surrounding villages. The second phase, a library/computer
center, is now under construction. Until the building is completed,
several donated computers have been set up in the back third of
the clinic building, and donations have enabled the purchase and
monthly payments for a satellite dish to connect this remote but
touristic area to the Internet. Future plans for the project include
a Women's Center, a Center for the Investigation of Rainforest
Resources and a Volunteer Accommodations Center. Project Ix-canaan
is supported and developed completely by individuals who give
of their resources and we welcome all enquiries, volunteers and
donations.
