“I very much appreciate the Pure Heart, Simple Mind newsletter, and I highly recommend it to everyone. It promotes a picture of mental, physical, and spiritual health and world peace, and it’s framed with gentle wisdom. We can all benefit from its heartfelt wisdom. Thanks, Charlie, for making this effort for us all!”Judith Delozier, NLP Co-Founder
I write about topics that reveal themselves to me as I go about my work and my life. I look for stories that exemplify the Seishindo approach. My articles cover such things as:
• How each heartfelt connection between individuals creates a web of respect, caring, and life among communities throughout the world.
• The intelligence of your body, which can be a source of great intuition and wisdom when you learn to pay attention.
• How listening deeply and acknowledging that you don’t know can help you embody a life of courage, creativity, and humility.
• The reality that every challenging situation has many high-quality solutions.
• The different ways in which the greater intelligence/God-mind present in our world manifests for each of us.

More comments about the Pure Heart, Simple Mind newsletter:
I have been a subscriber of Charlie’s newsletter for a while, and recently I had the pleasure of attending a workshop he gave in Burlington, VT as his guest. It was a treat to get to experience Charlie as someone who fully embodies the principles he espouses in Seishindo. Even though I don’t practice NLP, I was able to learn a lot by simply “listening” to Charlie work – his manner, his approach, his connection to everyone in the room was palpable, powerful, and provocative. Charlie’s writings have a way of illuminating areas of confusion for me, and his workshop was no different.
Charlie has a generous heart which has shown itself in many ways to me, even though we had never met until I appeared as a guest at his workshop. Over the years he has never failed to reply to an email from me, no matter how small, and he is one of the few resources I can always count on to teach me something about myself and the world around me. I find him respectful, challenging, and a true mensch. Thank you, Charlie, for sharing your knowledge, time, and heart both online and in person.

Charlie, I just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for your newsletter. I find your writing and teaching to be an oasis within my busy life. Your style of writing, the messages it gives to me, and the feeling of wanting to strive to be a better person are truly uplifting.
I’m keeping your newsletter in a folder I’ve named “Self Development,” as I’m convinced that in re-reading your writings I will find things I have missed first time around.
I appreciate what you are doing.
Respectfully,
Andy Clayton
I treasure your newsletter as a source of knowledge and inspiration. Every issue has led me to reexamine my strategies and behaviors.

Hello Charlie! I’m a new subscriber to your newsletter. I find that it touches me in a way that is so suggestive of the oriental body arts you frequently refer to. These stories are an invitation to explore these arts much further. I also love the stories’ simplicity, the lack of artifice, making their lesson even more suggestive. It shows their soul. Please keep sending them.
Best wishes,

Though I am very far from your presence and haven’t had the privilege of working with you in person, I thank you and acknowledge you for the very real contribution your work and your newsletters have made to my being and to my experience of the world.
I’m a man in my late 40s whose career has never really taken off. One thing that has lifted a little of the darkness from my soul has been the Seishindo group and your newsletters.
