"Pure Heart, Simple Mind"(tm). Official Newsletter of Seishindo(tm).
Volume 1, No. 25; December 31, 2003

Serving a community of private individuals and professionals who have the desire to cultivate a life of clarity, compassion, and creativity. Your feedback is encouraged. Please contact us at seishindo@seishindo.org.

Today's newsletter is very short and simple. In our next edition on January 15, 2004 we will go back to our usual format of articles, reviews, and conversations.

As the old year draws to an end, and a new year begins, I want to thank all of you for being a part of the Seishindo process. Our newsletter is exactly one year old, and thanks to so many of you passing the word on to friends and colleagues, we have grown to just short of 4,000 subscribers. Keep up the good work! I am always happy to receive email describing how you benefit from the Seishindo newsletter, workshops, and private sessions, and I encourage all of you to write to me in 2004 if you would like to express how Seishindo impacts your life.

I want to especially thank:

  • All of my students and clients over all of these years. Without all of you, this work would have no meaning.
  • The many friends of Seishindo that nourish me with your advice, friendship, spiritual support, and spreading the word regarding the benefits of this work.
  • All of my Washington DC students in particular for forming a stable, loving, supportive community of "seekers."
  • Karen Calabrese and Sandy Morris for organizing my workshops in Washington DC.
  • Kay Schaefer for sending so many students my way.
  • Dorothy Pietracatella, for being a good friend, trusted colleague, and highly skilled practitioner. Dorothy has played a major role in the success of the Washington DC workshops, and Seishindo in general.
  • Cindy Franklin, who is my friend, mentor, and muse. Cindy continues to play an important role in the overall development of Seishindo, and she has done a great job of jumping in and taking over the book reviews.
  • Inessa Rebeyko, my long time friend and colleague. Inessa is the person responsible for making the Seishindo internet presence successful. Without Inessa we would not have a web presence anywhere near as refined as what we have today.
  • The Universe, for supporting me so richly, and always giving me exactly what is necessary to sustain and succeed in any given moment.

It is my connection to all of you, to my surroundings, and to Spirit, that gives me a sense of being in the right place at the right time. A sense of Belonging.

Thank you so much,
charlie

Is our newsletter only arriving sporadically? Our "Pure Heart, Simple Mind" newsletter is meant to come to you twice a month, on or about the 1st and 15th of each month. If you aren't receiving every issue it could be because of the filtering systems your Internet Service Provider (ISP) uses to keep unwanted messages out of your inbox. In attempting to block unwanted mail, your provider will sometimes wind up blocking email like this newsletter, that you DO want to receive. If you are having delivery problems, send a blank e-mail to delivery@seishindo.org and we will send you a list of tips that can help ensure delivery. You can use these tips for other email as well.
