Anger Management Program
Seishindo Anger and Conflict Management: Achieve a peaceful victory over anger
Anger is just one part of the full, natural cycle of emotions.
But when a person’s anger is unresolved, they feel alienated and withdrawn from the rest of the workforce.
When a valued team member, employee, or manager expresses his or her anger in a negative way, collaboration and communication come to a painful, unproductive halt.
When people harbor long-term anger, they spiral downward into frustration, isolation, and resentment. Their colleagues withdraw, afraid of what might happen next.
When inappropriate displays of anger continue unchecked, organizations run the risk of everything from lost productivity and high turnover to lawsuits for harassment or bullying. In extreme cases, no matter how much we try not to think about it, workplace violence is becoming more common.
The Seishindo Anger Management program draws on the wisdom of the body, emotion, and intellect.
The program helps participants safely explore their anger, turning it into compassion, empathy, and appreciation for differences in opinion. Without ever being made to feel “wrong” for their feelings, participants discover ways to open up to and redirect the energy of their anger.
Participants will…
- Experience how Aikido exercises help release the pent-up physical energy of anger, reducing upset and creating a balanced sense of calmness.
- Learn to engage with the natural cycle of emotions, of which anger is only one small part.
- Utilize the seemingly-overwhelming energy of anger as a catalyst for becoming calm.
- Discover how to release the holding patterns of anger that reside in the body, letting go of anger and opening to gratitude and acceptance of difference.
- Realize that being open and receptive in the face of a counterpart’s anger is the best possible self-defence.
- Gently explore feelings, finding that emotional well-being resides deep inside, waiting to be touched and acknowledged.
- Learn a proven set of Seishindo Practices that will help continue the anger management process long after the workshop is over.

Wow! What a great video, I do like what you have done, it touches so many things for me. The work in the dojo was marvelous, I could certainly relate to that in every detail. It made so many things clear to me, thank you! The discussion afterwards was one of the most insightful and helpful explanations of the cycle of violence I have ever witnessed. GREAT work!
John Fenton, Ph.D.I really like the video: You speak clearly (jargon free), you have strong presence and your body language is very articulate and meaningful. You project authority and warmth at the same time. You show a wide knowledge base that projects strong credibility: you touched on so many topics that I wish to learn more, much more. …
