As an individual wanting more from your life, or a trained professional wanting to add to your current professional skills you will learn how to:

  • Identify and shift limiting beliefs, and debilitating habits.
  • Live and work from a place of heartfelt power and mental clarity.
  • Perform Aikido exercises to cultivate a compassionate, centered self.
  • Utilize Aikido principles to develop a sense of vital health and well being.
  • Change the way you think and feel, by changing the way you use your body.
  • Use the Japanese art of "sei tai" to release stress, muscle tension, and chronic pain.
  • Interact effectively with clients, children, and significant others, who seem intractable.
  • Pass along the skills you learn to your clients, colleagues, friends, and family members.

The discipline of Seishindo offers you the best of both Eastern and Western models of health and well-being. A remarkable system that merges Oriental philosophy with Western science.

This workshop will offer you significant value if ...

You are a therapist, coach, social worker, physical therapist, consultant, or bodyworker, looking to add to your current professional skills.
You are a spouse that would like to better understand your partner.
You want to live your life with a greater sense of vitality and passion.
You want to understand how to enter into fulfilling personal relationships.
You are a parent that would like to understand how to better nurture your children.
You are an individual yearning to join a warm spiritual community of life long learners.

By cultivating the capacity to think with your body, as well as with your brain, you become better able to work wisely with core issues such as identity, health concerns, a reduction of stress, destructive habit patterns, strained personal relationships, and various professional challenges.

If you desire to get off the fast track treadmill, if you feel ill at ease in your body, or if your thoughts and your emotions often run contrary to each other, Seishindo workshops will help you to:
Engage the world with greater enthusiasm, compassion, and creativity.
Profoundly change the way you perceive and appreciate your self -
the people you are in relationship with - the life challenges you face.

By entering into a state of "embodied presence" you will discover what you initially perceived as your problems or limitations, becomes an integral part of your solutions, your fulfillment. No problems, no solutions. No limitations, no fulfillments.

Learn how to guide yourself and others past the obstacles that keep you trapped in painful memories, of a self that seems to not be quite enough. Come and reveal to yourself the peaceful yet exhilarating experience of releasing your spirit and being fully connected to all that you are. Step out of the constant stream of your internal dialogue and enter into the river of life.

Charlie's workshops are highly improvisational in nature, with each seminar being tailored to the needs and desires expressed by the audience. These groundbreaking workshops draw on the wisdom of the Japanese martial art Aikido, and the Japanese health management system "Sei Tai" and melds this knowledge with concepts from Rolfing, Gestalt therapy, NLP, and Ericksonian Hypnosis. His work is known for its magic, depth of experience, and celebration of life. He weaves together theory, poetry, music, practical applications, and a clear sense of reconnecting to one's core identity. You are invited to enter into an austere theater of everyday life. Please come and experience, in a supportive community–A Heartfelt Experience Beyond Words.

What others have said about Seishindo workshops

As a coach to senior executives, I need ways to work deeply with people who are skeptical about anything non-linear. Charlie combines in-depth understanding with practical methods. His insight and intuition make him a master. Better still, unlike many masters, he is as unpretentious about himself as he is generous with his knowledge. As a learner, I feel safe to be exactly who I am, because Charlie is so straightforward about his humanity.
Steve Levin, organizational development consultant and executive coach

As a consultant, trainer, and coach in communication and leadership Charlie has offered me a variety of tools and experiences that go much further than what I had already learned as an NLP trainer and breathworker. His workshops are excellent, and his approach to coaching has made a major change in my personal life as well as helping me to enrich the lives of my clients.
Danielle De Wilde, Consultant, Trainer, and Coach

"The Seishindo workshop "Simple Mind Pure Heart" was the most profound and extraordinary workshop that I have ever attended. Profound because of the miraculous changes that have occurred in me and extraordinary because of the unique methods used to generate those changes."
Angela Scherma; Australia

"Charlie Badenhop is an extraordinary man. His work offers great insights into the unity of mind and body in clear, simple language that is immediately graspable and at the same time shatters any rigid conceptions one might be holding. I experience Charlie as a deeply honest, direct, open, powerful, and humble man. He is both an unforgettable character, and a real inspiration to me."
Mary Ann Giorgio; Brooklyn, New York
