Balanced Structure, Dynamic Movement, Endless Flow
The  heartfelt  expression  of  thoughts,  emotions,  and  actions

A three-day workshop with Charlie Badenhop and Dorothy Pietracatella
Washington D.C., October 31 - November 2, 2003, 9am-5.30pm

When the structure of your body is relaxed and balanced;
When you move as a natural expression of who you are and what you are feeling;
When your Mind is calm and aware yet not actively engaged in thinking;
You enter into a flow state of Embodied Presence.
Your thoughts, emotions, and actions occur simultaneously and spontaneously, and you understand life, without needing to explain what is, or how you came to be as you are. At such times, we don’t attempt to eliminate or control our thoughts, emotions, or actions. Instead, we move with our thoughts and emotions, feel into our experience, and breathe freely and easily.

This workshop will offer you significant value if...

  • You desire a deeper sense of calmness and meaning in your life.
  • You seek a heartfelt understanding of who you really are, once you take away the   stories about your life.
  • You want to help others live a more fulfilling life.
  • You are a therapist, coach, social worker, physical therapist, or bodyworker, looking to add to your current professional skills.

By cultivating the capacity to think with your body, as well as with your brain, you become better able to work wisely with core issues such as identity, deteriorating health, a general sense of well-being, destructive habit patterns, strained personal relationships, and various professional concerns.

Workshop benefits

Please come and explore this state of Embodied Presence and discover how to:

Live your life with a greater sense of vitality and passion.
Sense greater meaning in your life, and feel more connected to yourself and your everyday experience.
Understand more about how you generate your sense of health and well-being.
Develop greater personal presence, vitality, and emotional well-being.
Identify and shift the somatic underpinnings of limiting beliefs, health concerns, and debilitating habits.
Understand more about who you really are and what you want to do with your life.

Skills you will learn

Enter into a state of balanced structure, dynamic movement, and endless flow.
Unleash the creative and intuitive power of embodied presence.
Release excess energy and experience a state of living calmness and vital health.
Connect your breath and your heartbeat with your authentic desire.
Cultivate a loving relationship between "little i, and Big I."
Enrich and deepen your professional scope by adding principles of Aikido, Sei Tai, and Ericksonian Hypnosis, to your current system of knowledge and learn how to teach your clients to:

  • Tap into the intelligence of the body to rekindle innate creative learning abilities;
  • Activate unconscious organization patterns of the body to release excess energy and dis-ease;
  • Reorder the body through the generation of “spontaneous movement”.

You have this incredible ability to notice what is missing from the whole, and then you help to restore fullness. You have helped me to find a piece of myself that I had been looking for for many years. Thank you so much for such a precious experience."

"Charlie Badenhop is an extraordinary man. His work offers great insights into the unity of mind and body in clear, simple language that is immediately graspable and at the same time shatters any rigid conceptions one might be holding.
